FIRST DAY OF REMOTE INSTRUCTION

- Answer questions on homework. Give codes to retake sections 11.1-11.5
- Read section 11.6 and be ready to discuss it on Tuesday

- do the REQUIRED assignment problems
- there will never be more than 1 section a day as long as we are remote/online learning
- learning check on the section on CANVAS
- It will be taken AFTER you finish the required assignment problems.
- The code will be given on the morning you are taking the learning check. The code will only be good for the day it is assigned. You must take the initial learning check on this day or you will not be have the option to retake it. If there is a problem with this, contact me and we can work individually at that point.
- Learning Checks can be retaken for one week, just like we did when we were in class as long as you take the initial learning check.You will need to show me evidence of your extra preparation to retake the learning check. This an be done by a taking a picture and emailing it to me or uploading it to Canvas.
- Your grade is the grade on powerschool. It will be updated at the end of every "B" day.
- REMEMBER this is new to all of us. Please be patient with me and I promise it will go both ways.
- If this continues for longer than the two weeks (which it honestly might) SUU will be giving the exam online. Dr. Monson has asked my opinion on it, but we aren't making any decisions until after April 25th.
- I am hoping to use an app called ZOOM to set up live broadcasts that you can ask me questions, you can show me what you are doing and I can write things down and show you what to do also. I can use this app working one and one or with the entire class.
